What happened
The test covered East Asia, Europe and North America through Steam.
The test was announced on May 8, 2026; the June 26–29 schedule was confirmed on June 12.
Access was granted to selected applicants on a rolling basis.
Accepted players could invite up to two Steam friends of at least 30 days' standing, with PUBG Studios noting invites might be disabled if servers came under strain.
All inventories, extracted items, character levels and currency balances were wiped when the test closed.
The test was not under NDA, allowing participants to stream, record and discuss the build publicly.
Network instability and matchmaking issues on the opening day drew a maintenance notice and an additional wave of access.

What it means now
The second alpha is complete. A future test should not be considered scheduled until PUBG Studios posts a new official announcement.
